Pociatek Pohar Tournament

  • Pitches: 40 metres x 27 metres.
  • Surface: Indoor paquet flooring
  • Goals: 1.20 x 1 metre.
  • Matches split evenly between halls 1 and 2, though hall 2 is larger.

Rules

  • Matches last 20 minutes with 1 minute break to change ends.
  • Team that wins initial coin toss to start game can choose which end to defend or whether to kick off.
  • 4 outfield players on pitch at any time.
  • No goalkeepers allowed.
  • No restrictions on squad size.
  • Substitutions can be made at any time, but the player must come off pitch before substitute can come on.
  • Goalkeeper can come out of his area to make an extra outfield player.
  • Only designated goalkeeper (different colour top) can handle ball in area.
  • No offsides.
  • No sliding or dangerous tackles.
  • If the ball goes out of play or hits an obstruction, play resumes with a sideline kick-in against the offending team.
  • The ball can be played off any wall except the spectator seating area.
  • If scores are level at full-time, not including group matches, 3 penalties are taken to ascertain a winner. Sudden-death penalties continue if scores remain level.
  • Penalties are taken from 3/4 way mark into an empty goal.

Infringements

  • Yellow card = sin bin (2 minutes).
  • 2 yellow cards = off for remainder of game.
  • Direct red card = off for remainder of game.
  • A yellow card is awarded to any team that plays with 5 players on pitch at any one time.
  • If a referre judges an advantage made when substituting, a yellow card is given to offending player.
  • Sliding/dangerous tackle = referee's descretion though may result in a yellow or red card.
  • Handball = referee's descretion though may result in a yellow or red card.
  • If goalkeeper handles outside area = yellow card.
  • A penalty may be awarded if a player has been fouled in scoring opportunity.
  • Abusive conduct = yellow card.
  • Persistant abusive conduct = red card.
  • If a team breaks the rules and a player goes into the sin-bin, he may return to the pitch in the event of his side conceding a goal,
